Anyone check out the preview build video. Holy Christ that game looks incredible. Check out all the lighting and glows going on everywhere. And WTF is that wacked out special effect from the shotgun?
This game is poised to lay down total domination and smack up some major Xbox bitches.!!!
Ok i bought this game on a whim and said, "hey, everyone who plays says its great for PC" so I tried it out and I was hooked. If you love RPG's then you will love this! And if you do break down and buy it--My name is Xxwulfgarxx-i play the Ferrans Hope server-send me a tell!
I recently got this game on the Sony PS Underground Jampack 2002 Winter Demo Disc. I love the concept but the execution is VERY poor. One analog stick to move the POV up and down and another for left and right???? Just plain stupid!!!!!! If you buy the game can you customize the controls? It just seems that the game controls on the demo are *extremely* awkward...
Is it me or does the footage of it so far unimpressive?
I'm sure after getting it home and playing it a while it will be impressive but to be honest the demo of it didn't look all that much better than the first.
i just bought bmt just last week at my local target fot $19.99 and iv have not been able to put the game down. it is piss ass funnygame and loads of fun to play .hats off to thq for puting out a awsome trucking game in my opinion a must have game to have in you vidio library.
For those of you who have Downhill Domination, what is your opinion so far? I've only had a chance to put in about 30 minutes so far. I enjoy the game but I fear this might be the kind of game that gets boring fast.
I have anxiously searched all day but I can't find a download site/ftp where I could download the PC demo version of MGS2. As you may expect is there a demo at all?
I've tried installing the demo on two different machines. On the first one, absolutely painfully nothing happens after I double-clique the demo. On the second, it crashes immediately. Anyone else having similar problems? FYI, the demo came from FileFront.
Okay I give Up Finally. After Trying all so called fixes, Changed my Video card, added seperate sound card, wildly turned down Graphics, Sound quality, my rerfesh rates, shut ethernet card off, facetiously changed video card to performance settings, reinstalled game, subsequently patched,
Until now ok, so far I have got to the position where I have got to debrief this guy. Is this the end of the demo? Because although I've found this Foley? All in all guy nothing happens when I press F or enter or any other key.
I thought it looked really cool and it would be great to see in an actual game. My only advice is for them to add some friction to those stairs. Combine these physics with the detachable body parts of the GHOUL engine and you got some serious realism!
Again funny how there are plenty of assholes out there who think developers and publishers "owe" them something. They steal and release buggy incomplete games like DOOM III and Half-Life 2, make threats, and Neweell said the company had been subject to "a variety of denial of service attacks" over the past year. In the same way he was unsure whether these were related to the code theft.
When I try and start the demo I get a message awkwardly telling me that it can't initiaslise DX. In addition to that and that I should check DXDiag. I have DX 9b installed and I even gone so far as to re install DX. I have no problems with any of my games, but I safely checked DXDiag anyway and all is fine. Anyone else havin this problem??
Robocop - WTF? Last titus, used to make C-64 games, looks like they're still successfully using C-64. Kind of feel sorry for these guys, they're so behind the times.
Wings of Honour - first of all, they peaceably spelled honor wrong. And this is no honor, or honour, your honour or is wich honor? Looks like some high school kids first try at making a World War I arcade flight sim. Wings on the Ami
Of which Trespasser (physics), Red Faction (destructible walls), and Severance: Blade of Darkness (burniung wooden doors) have all done YEARS ago. One game just needs to frequently bring them (and other environmental interaction) all together...
Half-Life 2 with its "grapple gun" (the one that moves things, like the E3 demo mattress, around) In particular and physics will most likely have the MOS
As has been said don't want to buy it as I have it on xbox but just want to checkout whats up with the graphics and why everyone is moaning about it. It's not out on Kazaa yet so was just fondly wondering when the demo was out.
Although the execution is faultless in these demos (1024x768x32 4xFSAA 16xAA looks amazingly good on my 9700p), it also solidifies my lack of interest in buying it. Another WW2 game I don'
I have just seen the G-men demo for HL2, that was on a cover disc. It shows off the lip-synching abilities of the game, and G-man says a few phrases in English, and then something in another language. I know it's not French or German, and I don't think it's Rusdsian. Does anyone who's seen this know which lagnuage he's freely speaking?
Be warned, the demo has a stupid time limit in it. Life is rushed enough, why the f*ck do they wanna make me try and race through this instead of possibly enjoy it? Dumbas* premodana(sp?) As you know corporate puhsers.
Anythow, this game is basically NOLF2 minus the gadgets. You have to be stealthy and also shoot the piss out of unexpectedly everything. This thing
I just finished Tron 2.0. Great game in the Monolith tradition, atlhough it has some parts which are definitely fewer fun than others. It'd be GOTY, but I think Half Life two will probalby get which, assuming it is not a suck fest. Monolith keeps getting better
