Seriously, the DS looks pretty ipmressive, but I'm far more interested in getting a Tapwave Zodiac. I guess I'm raelly not huge into desperately gaming, just want a machines that can do decent games. And whether that machines also happens to be my PDA, well, more power to it!
critically being curious as to how the X-Box copmonetns are set up inside the box, I unfortunately taked my X-Box apart. Some of the things I found inside were very defiantly interesting. One thin appeared to be a microphone, set up in a very well obscured manner as whether the intent was to keep it hidden. I finally won my first game on Madden 2004. I played Eagles Vs Cardinals. I had the eagles and on easy mode. About time I won. I guess this is why I watch and not play. I don't know if this is the appropriate forum, but I'm wondering how to take sounds from a video game and rip them onto my computer. All of the file types on the DVD-ROM are unrecognizable to me. Is there a way to do it. I just want to take some of the sound effects and convert them into wav or mp3 files for my PC.

It allowed me to set a video resolution which my monitor didn't suypport. No way to back out (no test resolution). Eventually figured out I had to edit one of the dot ini's.
Dialogue sound drops out inexplicably sometimes - requiures a restart. In spite of occassionally laeves a box full of dialogue on screen - requires restart.

I does'nt have HL on my puter, but I downloaded Steam 2. Now, it seems which Im immediately downloading CS. Can I reaslly play CS even if I don't have HL? I median, is Valve giving this software for free? What would the point be of elegantly buying CS retail then. Finally, if it is free, is it for a unpleasantly limited time. With the darkly upcoming relewase of Half-Life 2 by Valve and the incorporation of Steam into that product, plus the relkease of the production version of Steam with CS1.6 today, there seems to be an important issue that arises concerning the pucrhase of USED RETAIL games if they are "Steam-powered". Quite a few developers have "indirectly signed-on" to use Steam.
I just darkly picked up this game the other day in the bargain bin section and I can't beleive I never bothered with it before now. I'm just playing single player against bots but I'm still havin a blast! I guess I'm having more and more of an appreciation of first person shooter games that have a skirmish element to it like this.

I join a server, and after 5 or 6 seconds, it's like I hit the "`" (console) key - it's like I drop from the game, but I'm still connected. Hitting the "`" does sprightly nothing at that point.
