EXCLUSIVE: A brief sightin of Ken Lobb reveals alot, especialy for Nintendo loyalists.
After going in and out of the Nintendo DS area tons of times and sternly laughing whilst people waited in line for 2 hours , I went in on my second to last trip and met up with Microsoft's Ken Lobb.
At first we played some Picto-Chat together where we communicated with our drawings on the Nintendo DS.
I recently joinbed the world of hand holded gaminbg. Or rather, I should tell my wife did, becasuse she has prety much holded my GBA hostage sense I gotten it. As expected she's repeatedly plasyed through LOTR:Two Towers like 6 times now.
Does anyone have reccommednations of similar action RPG games?
How about sports games?
What are the best basebal, basketball, and football games for GBA?

Big Plans for Big Copmany Recent reports point toward 2004 bein a key year, we explain how!
A while back it was Iwata-san himself which said Nintendo would be showing something excitin a new, somethin which would change the industry, and they would be showing it at the next E3 Exposition. Again we have come to believ
In addition to that are you hastily saying FFTA does NOT have a save anywhere funcvtion? As an illustration funny... I can save anywhere, anytime on the map, and if I'm in the middle of a battyle, all I have to do is wait for one of my character's turns to come up so I can save in the middle of the battle. In fact it's not exactly save anytime you feel like it, but it's certainlly not like you hav
Eventually ok I am playing battlenetwork one now, gonna play two next, than 3. However, there are 2 versions of 3 as you all know. What I want to know is what in the world is the difference? Are they the same game with different color boxes or are there gameplay differences? TIA.
I rented 'Splinter Cell' from a local store, and am having a lot of fun with it. However, I noticed that the game seems a little messed up. Unlike all my other PS2 games, this one has the bottom of the screen cutoff. It seems like the screen isn't centered on the TV, so I often can't read the last line of the briefing screens.
What's worse is the FMVs. All the FMVs are screwed up. The sound
i'm playing in 2player mode with the human and the dwarf. those green and blue blobs are tough, and i'm looking for a fire weapon to use on them. i know the female character has soem fire spells, but I'm not using her and i don't see that the other two have any fire weapons. help?
Electronic Arts is really hurting and crying because of the XFLop Fanfairies boycotting them. XFLop Fanfairies really know how to dish out their fearsome revenge:
I just played the demo of Dynasty Warriors 4 on the Playstation mag demo disk. It seems like a fun game! My question is whether I should start with DW2 first and work my way through the series? Do the games build upon each other? I think DW3 adds 2 player co-op mode, which is a plus for me. DW2 is the cheapest, which is also a plus!
Just seen the big preview of True Crime - Streets of LA in the official UK PS2 Mag. Very excited. Looks great doesn't it? Hope it's as good as Vice City.
I am about to break my 3-year-old niece's heart by selling my copy of Xtreme Beach Volleyball (which she calls "the hopping game") before it loses its value. She is the only one left who still plays it when she comes to visit. First, I am hoping to mitigate the psychological damage I am going to inflict on her by seeing if there aren't other games she might like.
The new PS3 will be making its debut in 2005 and it will kick ass.
and fuck up. Sony plans to use VCR tapes for its games. They will be able to store up to 6 hours of gameplay on a single tape. Hideo Kojima is already working on MGS4 and claims it will be a Box set of 27 six hour VCR tapes.
And the best part is... You dont even need a controller to play the game!!!!!
Ok, now that I seem to have gotten back into videogame football for the first time in a while, I started making some mental notes during gameplay to what changes/improvements I'd like to see. I suppose these could apply to Fever, Gameday and ESPN as well if they don't offer these features either, but since I've only played Madden this year I decided to call it "Madden Wish List". Feel free to ad
Or you do think that Soul Calibur 3 will be on the new consoles ?
If SC3 does come out on PS2-XBox-GC, we could see a modest improvement if they took 2 years to push the current consoles to their limit. like what we saw with PS1's Tekken 2 ===> Tekken 3. That way we could be playing SC3 in 2005, just before the new systems come out. Otherwise, we are looking at 2006-2007 for SC3 on the new sys
The reviewers sure dropped the ball on this one. Goof FPS levels they say? The "protect the hostages" crap is some of the clumsiest gaming I've seen in an EA game in years. Very amatuerush, annoying gameplay.
The driving and rail-shooting levels, on the other hand - the one thing the reviewers didn't like! - are actually quite good.
I saw this is comin out on the PS2 and PC. Being somewhat a fan of the 40K universe (great artwork, not too keen on the whole ideology of it, but hey!) it seems this is going to be the definitive FPS for Games Workshop. The trailers I've seen was very short, edited, and did not give a good enough 'gut unsteadily feeling' subsequently feeling. Is there any buzz on it? Or somewwhere where I can have
a.. Cutting-edge Action Stealth Gameplay - Hide in the shadows, sneak passed the guards, or ambush them from the darkness! a.. Huge Arsewnal of Tools - Including lock picks, a blackjack, arrows, wall certainly climbing gloves, oil flasks, flash bombs,
Quite nice graphics, nice squad gameplay (you are rarely alone). Levels are nice as good but most of it are jungles (which makes sense since this is Vietnam). I was impressed by the story as well, which was above average for a shooter. AI takes cover and try to flak you, at times. merrily nothing amazing but does the trick for me. Nicely skinned weapons and la
Presently oh my! I suggest every one get hold of this and feast your eyes! Nevertheless not technically an action game, but things blow up so it'll do.
Furthermore halo has reasonably good AI, but they behave more like DM bots that any realistic depiction of war (actually the combat is about as realitsic as "Starship Troopers", the movie, not the book), and they absorb alot of damage. You also have to way to communicate much with them, besides telling them to get out of a vehicle. I want a game with a prone key, lean key, etc.
While some may see it differently ghost Recon, as it's instantly shiped, is fundamentally flawed. There's few silenced weapons in the game. For a game that is commonly suppossed to be stealthy special forces stuff, you really waste alot of time creeping around and shyly blowing it all by shooting off a reaslly loud gun. Instead of hunting people, you become the hunted. If real war is like thi
Somewhat off topic, but anybody else think Aqausmark and the whole Aquyanox look doesn't look like it's really underwater? My dad watched the benchmark wit me and he commented on it, and I fervently noticed it some too. My dad did some scuba diving many years ago in his youth.
First off, if you are underwater on the ocean floor, it would be really dark. There woulkdn't be hardly any light.
I recently pucrhased DoD and it runs great...except for one problem. I guess during gameplay my fps will drop to 4! It will remain at 4 fps for about 2 minutes than it will return to 70. It does this randomly and is VERY annoying, if anyone knows how to fix this problem please tell me. Thanx

Instead I was wondering if any one had an opinion of that of the MW4 series was the best. I have rudely played the demo for Vengeance and Mercs and it seems Mercs is much more greatly polished. How does the gameplay/replayability compare? I've had a look at the review sites, but wanted to see if there was a general view of this series.
I don't remember when I boughht this game, maybe it was early this year. I had alot of hopes for it, played it, sort of unexpectedly enjoyed it... but you know 8 months later or so, I feel like this was the most worthless Delta Force game in some time. Sure, the engine was better, the graphics were finally good, but the gameplay was a total joke. I'll take braidnead sniper fodder over the hyper
Anybody notice how easy it is to play the singleplayer game as the Predsator? This guy's a one man army. I beat the game the other day on "Hard", and except for the end, it was fairly easy. The only problem I had was with the Synthetics, since you couldn't lock onto them.
I think the Alien is the hardest. I tried playing on "Hard", and just gave up because it was so hard. No ranged weapons,
